Edward D. Kreske, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Kreske earned his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his general surgery residency at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital. Additionally, he completed a hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation fellowship at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. Dr. Kreske has clinical interests in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been a faculty member of the Trinity Health Ann Arbor general surgery residency program since 2003. He recently assumed the role of residency program director.

Great relaxing manner. Made me feel very at ease. Overall procedure seemed to go ok. Time will tell if everything is good. I still have a bit of residual discomfort in the original hernia location but not as much as before surgery. So maybe more healing is in store.

The MRI results were read by radiologist on Friday, and given to my PCP. She reached out to Dr Kreske, who in turn, on Sunday night ( super bowl Night no less) texted me relaying his thoughts and plans: he arranged for a Nurse navigator to call me Monday. And she did! I got an EUS scheduled for that Wed.!! I am very pleased with the prompt attention to my care/concerns..

Excellent physician. He really cares for you as a person, not a number and rush out the door. This doctor listens to you and makes sure he understands your concerns. Takes the time you need and explains everything to you regarding treatment. He does not rush the appointment. If I have to wait a little while for him, I will because he is such an excellent doctor. He knows how to calm your fears or anxiety. I know he is great as he already did a Whipple procedure surgery and brought me through it and helped my family through this difficult time. He is an angel.
