About
"Physical therapy has always been a fascination of mine. My grandpa was a double amputee, my uncle is a quadriplegic, and I myself have had numerous sport related injuries. I love the art and skill of rehabilitation and truly enjoy helping other enhance their quality of life."
Michele earned an undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University and a doctoral degree in physical therapy degree from Oakland University.
She has participated in a variety of continuing education courses, drawing from multiple schools of thought as well as achieving the specialty of Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT) and now teaches a seminar nationally on advanced dynamic anatomy.
Her approach to therapy includes a focus on manual treatment in conjunction with sport/function specific strengthening.
Michele enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and participating in any outdoor activities. She also continues to find time to follow her passion of figure skating, a sports in which has competed both nationally and internationally.
