My visit with her was fine. The notes she made had a major flaw in that she said I had post menopausal osteoporosis. I don't have that, have never been diagnosed with it ever. I have osteoarthritis.....would like that note fixed please.
She was patient, polite, and knowledgeable.

Like all primary care folks these days, the examination she gave was minimal. I understand that's just the practice now, especially for these "Wellness Visits". My long-retired internal medicine guy would spent 40 minutes poking and prodding, listening and looking - it was annoying and invasive, but it sure was a Physical Examination. I can't help but wonder if we've lost something in no longer doing things that way.
This was a telephone call, not a video visit. It was very quick and thorough. The provider was willing to listen and gave me good feedback on questions I had.

Doc always seems rushed.
Seemed like a waste to have a nurse or whatever call to do a check in with me to spend less that five minutes on the phone fire the appt. If it was at the office they would have scheduled a hour.

This is not a negative comment on staff but I find it interesting that according to Medicare guidelines we have an expiration date. In spite of having had breast cancer, after 75 mammograms are no longer “necessary�.
Wellness exam is not necessary if a person has a health provider.

He was a poor substitute for Elizabeth. I choose my health care providers carefully. Since my doctor was booked far ahead I had to see this new one. I don"t wish to see him again.
