Neurology Residency

We participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and accept applications only through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). The following are required for consideration:

  • Strong communication skills
  • USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1 passed
  • Graduation from medical school within the past 3 years
  • Our institution only sponsors J-1 visas
  • USMLE Step 2 CK or COMLEX Level 2 scores are encouraged but not required at the time of interview. However, Step 2 must be available to be considered for ranking.

Visiting Learners

We welcome visiting medical students and residents for clinical rotations.

  • Medical students apply via the VSLO system. Look for us under Michigan State University – College of Human Medicine – Grand Rapids Campus.
  • Residents should contact Susan.Grice@trinity-health.org to begin the application process.

Please note: We are unable to offer observerships or externships outside of the VSLO system.
