I would like to serve in a rural community someday and want to be able to offer my patients every service possible without the need to travel or wait for treatment. Since I love getting outdoors I also enjoy learning about wilderness medicine and the challenges and solutions for treating patients in remote or austere environments. 
Hobbies: I have a ton of interests. I think that's partly what drew me to the scope of family medicine. Lately I've been into fishing and recently started Tenkara fly fishing. I'm really excited to try some of Michigan's famous trout streams. I play guitar, piano, and lots of video games with my kids. I'm also a big DIYer and will try to fix anything before asking someone else.
