My professional activities and interests focus on infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on antibiotic stewardship initiatives that optimize antimicrobial use across the health system. I am also actively engaged in precepting pharmacy students and residents, fostering clinical growth and evidence‑based decision‑making.

Personal Interests

I’m a big fan of the outdoors, especially when it involves golf, where I take my competition seriously. When I’m not chasing birdies, I’m enjoying outdoors/lake life with my family and finding new excuses to gather around great food. Whether it’s the course, the water, or the grill, I like to keep things fun and full of stories.

I enjoy being outside as much as possible - even just a simple walk with my dog around the neighborhood (sometimes the kids and husband are invited too). I'm also a voracious reader and enjoy audiobooks during my daily commute!

The team dynamic at our institution is ideal, both within the pharmacy department and with the providers and staff at my three clinics. I feel very supported and am an integral part of the patient care team at each of my clinics.

Teaching is a passion of mine, so the ability to work with the pharmacy residents and three of our medical residency specialties makes every day new and interesting.
